About us
This blog provides information on the latest from the crowdsourcing initiatives at ETH Library Zurich. At present, crowdsourcing is (primarily) used to describe images from the Image Archive.
The contents of this blog address:
- The many volunteers whose efforts made the crowdsourcing initiatives such a success in the first place.
- Those involved from libraries, archives and museums who are interested in any information and experiences related to the realisation of crowdsourcing.
The “Do you know more?” category contains appeals from the Image Archive to get involved and help describe images. Blog entries like “You knew more!” document the results of the feedback received. Both categories are also available at E-Pics Image Archive Online. Moreover, they also include experiences as well as background and general information on crowdsourcing.
We translate general information into English, however, blog posts are available in German only.
